Cosmetic treatment injections are one of the most highly regarded anti aging cosmetic treatments with over 95% satisfaction rate.

Botox Cosmetic injections are now routinely used to smooth out lines and wrinkles around the eyes and on the forehead. It is also possible to prevent deep lines forming by using the injections to halt muscles activity and, therefore the skin wrinkling. This is particularly useful to prevent forehead furrows and crows feet.

Botox  Cosmetic treatment injections start £175 for ONE area and go up to £250 for total toxin treatment, this includes a top up or adjusment dose after 2 to 3 weeks. The injections prevent to release of neuro transmitters from the nerve endings and, therefore the stimulus for muscle contraction is blocked. There is some evidence that low levels of Zinc can reduce the effectiveness and longevity of treatment so zinc supplements maybe of use.

Botox Cosmetic Injections are equally effective in men but a larger dose may be needed and, therefore they may be more expensive and more treatments needed.

The main disadvantage of botox , a highly effective anti aging treatment is that the botox injections may wear off quickly after 8 to 10 weeks which necessitates frequent treatments.
